La prova Case Test (Case Western Riserve University) rientra nelle prove su palo ad alto livello di deformazione, nella quale vengono generate onde d’urto per mezzo della caduta di un grave; le caratteristiche di propagazione delle onde d’urto vengono raccolte per la successiva analisi mediante una serie di sensori applicati al palo.
L’indagine termografica è una tecnica non distruttiva che si fonda sul principio fisico della trasmissione dell’energia per irraggiamento, cioè attraverso radiazione elettromagnetica.
